We have participated since the first EBRATS’ edition, under the name Degussa S.A. (a German company that in 2003 sold its world precious metals operations to the Belgian Umicore group).

The results of this joint venture from the technical viewpoint were highly satisfactory, contributing to establish new contacts in congresses and presentations which wound up being commercially interesting. It also allowed us to promote new processes and products.

“We decided to participate as exhibitors at EBRATS 2012 because we want to promote our company and the software we created especially for electroplating companies, organometallics, painting, heat treatments, metallization and others sectors, which provide surface finishing services to third parties. As EBRATS an important meeting in this field, we feel it is a great opportunity!

One of our priorities will be to promote new functions, mainly the automatic costs’ calculation and the galvanization price calculation. We are well informed about this trade show by having taken part in EBRATS 2009, when we decided to focus on surface finishing.

On that occasion, we had the opportunity to talk to several persons involved in this sector and exchange information and ideas about our tools. Several of the persons who had contacted us during EBRATS 2009 later became our clients and others were useful to enhance our knowledge in the field and improve our tools.

It is always hard to measure the results of a fair. We always gather so many businesses cards to contact people later that, especially in our field, we rarely close a deal during the trade shows. However, EBRATS being a specifically oriented fair/congress, we do believe that even indirectly, it will bring good results.

It is the second time we are going to take part of it, as the first brought good results, thanks to a target-oriented public who visited our booth. We hope Lamiex brand and Lamiex products will become more and more well known, inasmuch as we shall prospect new customers in such a specific trade show and congress, covering several fields of activities on the same spot.

"EBRATS is a national trade fair gathering the most important players in the electroplating field. For a company as big as Resimapi it almost mandatory to have participated! In previous editions, the results proved to be so good, people called us after so much, that do not participate in the 2012 edition would certainly frustrate many of our co-players and the market in general.
