Dear Exhibitor,

There’s less than a month until the opening of the 2012 EBRATS and 
INTERFINISH Latino-Americano trade shows.

 The Brazilian Association of Surface Treatments (ABTS) is promoting the event through various communication channels, and it is of the utmost importance that you, as Exhibitor, also divulge YOUR participation with a booth at this major event. We suggest sending a copy of the invitation below to your contacts, asking them to register early online, facilitating access to the exposition (self-service totems)

 Preceding the opening ceremony, on April 11th, 2012, at 11 a.m., there will be a welcome reception, expected to be attended by representatives of supporting organizations, representatives of the exhibitors, and special guests.

Registration for the Convention, which will take place in the morning period, can be done via the event’s website. Early online registration will allow access to visit the expo, making it unnecessary to register in the exhibit area.  

Especially in this edition, the EBRATS 2012 Organizing Committee has determined that exhibitors will receive the courtesy of one free attendance at the Convention. In the coming days we will send details on how to register for this courtesy.  

Of the more than one hundred papers submitted for consideration by the event’s Scientific–Technical Committee, 92 will be exhibited as “posters” and 36 of them will also be presented orally. All these works will also be assessed by the event’s Scientific–Technical Committee, which will choose the winner of “Engineer Gerhard Ett Award” honoring the best paper submitted.  

The afternoon schedule features eight commercial–technical lectures by sponsoring companies, and two international panels on green materials. See the detailed schedule on the event’s website.

 Several delegations from Brazil and abroad will attend the convention and visit the exhibits. We hope you will participate as well, promoting and registering your employees to attend the convention. In this regard, it’s important to mention that the oral presentation of papers at the convention will take place in the morning period, hence will not interfere with the activities of registered attendees during the afternoon period. All papers entered and accepted for the event will also be exhibited in the form of “posters” which will be shown for the appreciation of all visitors to the exhibition.

09:30 a.m. – Registration

11:00 a.m. – Welcome Reception

12:00 p.m. – Opening ceremony with a Lecture by Maestro João Carlos Martins and a performance by Quinteto Bachiana

 1:00 p.m. – Opening of the Exposition and of the Poster Area
